Back: Kendra Pitts, Camila Rosenburg, Brianna Samson, Courtney Van Allen, Madison Slade (Rockwood), Morgan Berthiaume, Madison Mulder, Coaches Janet Lindsay and Kevin Pitts. ­ Submitted photo Sports with The New Tanner Puslinch Predators pounce The Puslinch Predators Jones and Bisson Dentistry Under-18 girl's soccer team played four hard games placing them into the semi-finals in their division at the Eighth annual Ancaster Heritage Days Soccer Tournament, reported to be one of the largest and highest-quality tournaments in southern Ontario. It attracts teams from Ontario, Quebec and the United States, with close to 350 teams participating this year. Special needs students attack track events Students from McKenzie-Smith Bennett School annually participate in the Special Athlete's Track meet at Nelson High School in Burlington. This year's event on June 15 was the 25th anniversary. Students with special needs across Halton are invited to this event. This year, students from MSB's Life Skills class as well as a Grade five and six students participated. The event was a huge success with students having the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports events from a 50m races to softball throws. MSB is proud to say that they will have another track and field pennant to add to this year's growing collection as all students involved worked hard to be the best that they could be.
