On Monday, July 2, the Region will launch the first survey and ask panel members about their satisfaction with Regional services and how they believe the Region should invest tax dollars in the coming year. "Budgeting is about making choices and our new survey panel offers a timely way to gather input from Halton's residents," said Regional Chair Gary Carr. "Regional Council truly does value the input we receive from residents, as it allows us to make better decisions on issues that impact us all." To receive Halton MVP surveys, residents must join the panel and complete a demographic questionnaire at www.halton.ca/ MVP. Halton MVP will survey residents about a variety of Regional issues and initiatives including waste management, service optimization, housing, emergency preparedness and more. As part of the program, and to ensure there is twoway communication, Halton Region will make summary survey results available on its website. Residents who register to join Halton MVP may be invited to participate in up to eight surveys each year. Registration is open to all residents of Halton Region (excluding employees of Halton Region) 18 years of age or older. For more information about Halton MVP visit www.halton.ca/MVP. The Halton MVP survey panel will be managed and administered by Jane Armstrong Research Associates on behalf of Halton Region through a secure website.
