20 Acton waste d r o p - o ff : a great success For six hours a steady stream of vehicles rolled into the Town's public works yard in Acton, dropping off, for free, e-waste ­ computers, televisions, cameras and cell phones ­ and household hazardous waste ­ everything from paint to motor oil to fluorescent tubes ­ during Halton's special waste drop-off day on Saturday. At least 30 cars were lined up on Commerce Crescent before the 9 a.m. opening and when asked how they learned about the day, a majority said from the newspaper.
