This school year includes: Full-Day Early Learning Kindergarten Program has expanded to include 10 Catholic elementary schools including Holy Cross, and St. Brigid Catholic Elementary Schools in Georgetown. The Halton Catholic Board is pleased to begin offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Grade 11 and 12 Diploma Programme at St. Thomas Aquinas (STA) Catholic Secondary School, beginning in September. Construction of the new Catholic secondary school in Milton is progressing well. The school will be ready for occupancy in September, 2013. All student bus information, including bus stop times, stop location and route numbers, is available online at www.haltonbus.ca. Parents should note that in order to access student transportation information, either online or by telephone (1-888-803-8660), it is necessary to know their child's Ontario Education Number (OEN). The Board reminds all motorists that with the start of the new school year, to please exercise caution when driving near school zones, crosswalks and school buses with flashing lights. Tr u s t e e s o f t h e B o a r d meet twice a month, on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. The meetings routinely take place at the Catholic Education Centre in Burlington. This year, as a component of the Board's ongoing efforts to engage members of its community, they will hold two meetings within school communities across Halton.
