Bidding to keep their undefeated record intact, the Acton Tanners Atom AE team travelled to Arthur to face the Vipers. They quickly quieted the home crowd minutes in when Riley Drexler snapped one in from Jaret Rosenburg and Braedan Lazenby. Arthur tied the game to close out the first but Acton regained the lead in the second on an unassisted goal by Rosenburg and a Logyn Nyitrai goal from Mike Jankowski. A wild third saw the teams trade goals until eight goals were scored in the period. Acton tallies came from Aydin Reddeman from Jankowski and Nyitrai, Matthew Geim from Owen Kennedy and Michael Haggett, Drexler from Rosenburg and Lazenby, and finally Rosenburg with another unassisted marker to close out the 7-5 victory. A few days later, the Tanners visited the Woolwich Wildcats and their penchant for striking first was evident again when Zach Timbers let a howitzer go from the point that Rosenburg managed to deflect up and over the stunned Wildcat goalie. The home squad knotted the game early in the second but Haggett slipped in the eventual game winner off a feed from Evan Ashe. The Tanner defence corps did the rest of the work to close out the 4-1 win. Defensemen Thomas Holmes, Laek Swain and Timbers threw up a wall in front of the Tanner zone, Kevin Reppar buried a wicked wrist shot from the point and Geim sniped one five hole after Swain sent him streaking down the left side. · late model vehicles · tune-ups · electrical diagnosis · Air conditioning · oil changes Specializing in: OIL SPRAY SEASON HAS ARRIVED!
