Q107 morning show rocks Acton neighbourhood Q107's Morning Show DJ's visited contest winners Eric and Leslie Boles of Birchway Place on Friday October 5 as part of their Derringer's Tour the Neighbourhood contest. The Boles were chosen as finalists in the contest and were asked to appear in Toronto on Wednesday morning to compete against another family and won the grand prize. As winners of the Derringer's Tour of the Neighbourhood they received a live broadcast from their home with the morning cast and a Q107 Classic Rock Home Upgrade that included: a 50" Plasma TV and surround sound system, a hot tub, barbeque, a bar fridge, approximately $250 worth Marc Angelo meats. The Q107 crew arrived at 3:30 am Friday morning to setup for the 5:00 am broadcast, and even cooked breakfast for the family on their new barbeque. During the live broadcast the public was invited to come watch the show and enjoy coffee, donuts, and get a chance to meet the Q107 DJs, John Derringer, Ryan Parker, Maureen Holloway and John "Flairboy" Garbutt. Visitors the morning show were also rewarded with Q107 coffee mugs and other swag.
