Fallis, on social media, has made no secret of his love for Eden Mills following an appearance at the Eden Mills Writers Festival when he promised to come back on his cross-Canada book release tour. Guelph spoken word performer Truth Is , and musicians Harri Palm and Molly Kurvink fill the bill. Francis-Celmins will work on a piece at the library on November 15 at 7 p.m. Guests are invited to "enjoy, or scratch your head in puzzlement," as Francis-Celmins has "bared her soul," according to advance PR. (Hwy7) Rockwood Panto performances Cinderella, the traditional English pantomime ­ with music, dance and audience participation ­ takes centre stage at the Century Church Theatre on the November 16th and 25th weekends. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., will features bake/tea and penny tables. There is no entry charge, but an item of non-perishable food for the food bank would be gratefully accepted. Oh, Santa Santa Claus visits Rockwood on Saturday, December 16, at Rockmosa at a pancake breakfast hosted by the Rockwood and District Lions Club. Breakfast begins at 8 a.m., Santa arrives at 9 ­ kids can have photos taken with Old Saint Nick ­ and the event runs until 1 p.m. Organizers hope the breakfast is the first of what will become an annual Christmas event. Proceeds will benefit Lions' projects and programs, including paving the Lions Park parking lot.
