The Tanners, sponsored by Drexler Construction & Chudleigh's, opened the tournament against Dorchestor, and got on the board early on a breakaway goal by Mike Jankowski from Matthew Geim. Jaret Rosenburg extended the lead unassisted before Jankowksi added a late tally in the 3-1 victory. Cale McWilliams got the win in net. Acton faced off next against Paris, and again opened the scoring on a breakaway goal by Michael Haggett. Evan Ashe slipped one in off a faceoff before Haggett buried another from Logyn Nyitrai. Kevin Reppar and Braedan Lazenby setup Jankowski to seal the 4-1 win. Chris Harriott picked up the win. In game three against Saugeen Shores, Jankowksi powered the Tanners to a 5-1 victory with a hat trick, with the rest of the scoring by Rosenburg, who also had an assist. Owen Kennedy scored, and Laek Swain an assist. Harriott and McWilliams split the net duties for Acton. In the semi-final, Acton squared off with Chatsworth. After a scoreless opener, the Tanner offence exploded in the second after Aydin Reddeman slipped one by a downed Rebels goalie. Rosenburg & Haggett each scored unassisted before Ashe scored on a feed from Haggett. Defensemen Thomas Holmes and Zach Timbers battled the Rebel forwards down the stretch to help preserve the 4-1 win. In the championship game against Collingwood, the Tanners came out flying and dominated the scoreless opening frame, with the puck rarely leaving the Blackhawks' zone. Early in the second, Riley Drexler and Kennedy banged around the Hawks net on a penalty kill with Drexler eventually knocking in the opening goal. After the Hawks quickly answered to send the game to overtime, both teams battled hard in OT but with just 38 seconds left, the puck ricocheted in front of Acton's net where a Hawks player was waiting to bang it in.
