John Kwast, the Town's Manager of Design and Construction said the Mayor was quite pleased to do a formal opening because the project was "kind of unique...it was a complete tear-down and rebuild," Kwast said on Tuesday when he called to confirm The New Tanner's attendance. He said the bridge railing was to arrive on Wednesday and would hopefully be complete before Thursday's ceremony. The bridge replacement cost $778,347 and was done by Esposito Brothers Construction of Nobleton.
