Splendid fall weather.

Erin must have her show on a wet or rough day otherwise the crowd would not be accommodated.

The Misses Uren returned to Ingersoll after spending holidays with their sister Mrs. J.A. Tracy.

Miss Bessie Steele of Fergus and Miss French of Brampton spent Saturday with Mrs. D. Lawson.

Mrs. B. Hill of Clinton spent Thanksgiving holidays in our village. Mrs. Jno. McCloskery spent a holiday at Mono Road and Durham. Mr. M. Stonehouse paid a visit to his sister-in-law, Mrs. McCloskery.

Mr. Mitchell is reported as improving in health. We are glad to report same as Mr. Mitchell has his hands full always.

Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Thompson of Toronto spent the holiday at Geo. B's.

Mrs. Duff of Buffalo spent a few days with Mrs. H. Graham.

Confirmation classes are being held in St. John's church. Special service last sunday evening after church.

As previously announced the Woman's Auxiliary will give a social in the hall on Friday night. Don't all come, as the building is only four storey, but some come, and "help to help" some of your friends in far-off lands who perhaps are in need of the warm clothing the W.A. are kind enough to make for them.

Monday evening last a little girl arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Hume. Congratulations to all, not forgetting Grandpa Hood.
