Kindergarten registration closing in

Parents are asked to register their children for Senior and Junior Kindergarten with the Halton District School Board (HDSB) by Friday (February 3). Registration began in midJanuary. Parents should call their designated elementary school to find out which dates have been established for Kindergarten registration. For registration information and to view on-line boundary maps or use the School Locator program parents should check the HDSB website at www.hdsb.ca. Parents are asked to bring the following original documents when registering their children: · Proof of your child's age (birth certificate or passport) · Your child's immunization record · Your child's Ontario Health Card

· Proof of address · Proof of custody if the person registering the child is not his/her parent To register for fall 2006 Junior Kindergarten the child must be four years old by December 31,

2006, and five years old by that date to register for Senior Kindergarten. Parents with children currently attending Junior Kindergarten do not need to register for Senior Kindergarten.
