FOX, Nelly Of Georgetown passed away in her 93rd year at Milton District Hospital on Monday February 6th, 2006 after a hard struggle with Alzheimers. Nelly was the beloved mother of daughter Sandra and Doug Trafton of Georgetown. She has gone to be with her beloved husband of 69 years, the late William James Fox (1938) of Georgetown, formerly of County Armagh N., Ireland. Predeceased by her parents Mary Ellen (Nellie) and Charles Parton of Georgetown, formerly of Burslem, Stoke - on- Trent, England, as well as her brother Charles Alan Parton (1999) of Milton. Survived by her sister Eva Wilson, of Milton as well as many nieces and nephews and their families, especially Elizabeth (Parton) Marr of Niagara Falls and Kathleen (Wilson) Bond of Milton. Nelly had made her home in Georgetown since 1929 and worked in Smith & Stones Assembly for 43 years on the assembly line and then as floorperson in assembly. Just as she loved travelling in the motorhome, she loved her home in Georgetown where she was able to stay until her last two week hospital stay. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Thursday February 9th, 2006, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. In memory contributions to the Willow Foundation (Friends Landing) would be appreciated.
