Check your children's backpacks! March Break & Summer Camp flyers, issued by the Town of Halton Hills Recreation and Parks Department, have been sent home from school in early February. If you did not receive a flyer through school distribution, you can pick one up at any Town facility such as the Cultural Centre, arenas, pools, Civic Centre and Gellert Community Centre. For details, call Recreation & Parks, 905-873-2601, ext. 2275. Many March Break community programs and activities are available. Plus keep active through the week at free recreational swimming through the sponsorship of Tim Hortons and free recreational skating through the sponsorship of the Optimist Club of Georgetown and the Rotary Club of Acton. On the flipside, get a head start on planning for summer! Again this year Recreation and Parks will be offering a variety of summer camps including new Play BC's, Basketball Camp and Soccer Camp. Watch for the Town of Halton Hills 2006 Spring and Summer Community Guide to be delivered beginning the weekend of February 17.
