Ashgrove Women's Institute celebrated its 80th anniversary recently with a luncheon at Hillcrest United Church. On hand to cut the cake in celebration of the event were (from left) treasurer Gwen Brander, president Verna Bird and secretary Norma Alexander. Following the luncheon, the ladies enjoyed a presentation featuring highlights of the branch's 80 years.
