At the recent Ontario Volleyball Association under-17 girls' championship tournament in Kitchener, the Georgetown Impact under-16s placed fifth out of 12 teams and are confident heading into this weekend's under-16 provincials in Newmarket. The OVA presents an award of excellence to a team member from each club and the Impact's recipient in Kitchener was Ashley Nixon, a middle hitter/blocker from Limehouse who attends Acton High School.
