Acton High School Athletes of the Week are Missy Rowley and Joanie Weaver. Rowley, a mid-fielder on the Bearcats varsity soccer team was chosen for her game against Bishop Reding, where she scored a goal with her head. Weaver, also of the Bearcats varsity soccer team, scored the winning goal in that same game. Georgetown District High School Athletes of the Week are Charles Veale and Victoria Hunt. Veale, a second row on the Rebels rugby team, was selected for scoring half a tri against Holy Trinity High School. Hunt, a hooker on the girls rugby team, was chosen for controlling the scrum, as well as scoring a tri against St. Thomas Aquinas. Christ the King Athletes of the Week are Stephen Bruce and Danielle Morin. Bruce, a defense on the Jaguars senior soccer team, was selected for his good defense in the field against Nelson. Morin, a mid-fielder on the Jaguars senior girls soccer team was cited for her offensive play against Assumption.
