Artwear designer Bonnie Glass has designed her fall collection, Birds of a Feather, inspired by birds for women who have a love for life as well as a love for the uniquely beautiful. The shows take place Friday, Oct. 20, 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 21, 1:30 p.m. at the Glen Williams Town Hall-- just down the street from the Williams Mill Visual Art Centre where she has a studio. The $20 ticket includes a draw for a Bonnie Glass garment with a value up to $850. Vera Macdonald has written and will narrate a fashion playlet as part of the show. "I'm so happy that the models have agreed to volunteer their time and help to raise money for Summit Housing and Outreach Programs because it directly affects people in our town in a positive way," said Glass. "Monies raised will support the new vehicle they have purchased. You can check them out by visiting www.summit-housing.ca You can phone Studio Mélange to reserve your seat at 905-873-7366 or take your chances buying a ticket at the door.
