A Georgetown man has been elected vice-president and president-elect of the Halton Regional chapter of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO).
Michael Bennett has more than 16 years experience as a human resources professional in Canada and the U.S. and is a co-founder and managing director of ENGAGE Human Resources Solutions Inc. in Mississauga.
Bennett is also a citizen representative on the Halton Diversity Advisory Committee and sits on the Program Advisory Committee. He teaches part-time at Sheridan Institute's Human Resources Management program.
"The work of HRPAH and HRPAO is very important to the development of strong human resources leaders, professional standards and promotion of best practices in people management, all of which contribute to the quality and success of employers in Halton and across Ontario," said Bennett.
"The HRPAH has had great leadership under current president John Hardisty, and I look forward to continuing building on the momentum he had created in partnership with our talented executive committee and our members."
