Age: "Smooth vintage". Occupation: Interior decorator Political experience: Six years (2000-2006) as Ward 2 councillor. Message to voters: The time has come to change the way we expand our neighbourhoods and carve out our community's expansion. People look for rural communities with a flavour. Having found it, they don't want expansion. The Province tells us we must absorb "x" number of new people so some growth is inevitable. Your municipality decides how to make that growth sustainable. Our Official Plans must comply with the Province's Planning Act, but exactly how we do that, is our responsibility and that of the Region. More jobs along the 401 Corridor, responsible sharing of transit and we absolutely must stand up for the community we live in and love. That means responsible choices by your councillors and strong communication from you to us so we can carry your voice forward.
