Age: 47 Occupation: Business owner. professional engineer. Political experience: Three years (2003-2006) Ward 3 councillor and three years (1997-2000) Commissioner Halton Hills HydroElectric Commission Ward 3. Message to voters: I'm seeking reelection as Ward 3 councillor because the next four years, when the Durable Halton Plan will be written, will define the future of Georgetown for years. I aim to work for balanced growth that preserves what people love best about our small town, but welcomes forwardthinking development that makes great use of appropriate land, especially in brownfield and greyfield areas. I want to ensure that Georgetown gets its fair share of the Town budget. Most of our residential taxpayers-- 60 per cent-- live in Georgetown, yet our taxes help pay for the whole Town's costs. I take the long-term view when investing in infrastructure. We should pay for improvements now instead of paying more later. I will be a fearless voice for Georgetown.
