Artisans' Attic to hold art show to mark tenth anniversary

The Artisans' Attic, an artists' co-operative, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a new art show. Its 10 talented local artists are presenting their new original works of art to commemorate a decade of successful business. The public is invited to `Meet the Artists' on the opening night of the show, Friday Nov. 3, 7-9 p.m. The Artisans' Attic is located in downtown Georgetown, Ontario at 73 Main St. South. The store is brimming with original works of art ranging from: blown and stained glass, jewelery, functional and sculptural pottery, intricate weaving, papier maché and original paintings in watercolour, acrylic and pastel. There will also be an array of works from guest artists. Each gifted member of the Artisans' Attic has a long history in the arts and they bring their very best talents to this new show. The co-operative is comprised of: Kim Debruyn, Carolyn Filter, Laura Kingsbury, Susan Little, Mary Meredith, Susan Pippy, Margaret Searle, June Snyder, Janice Sukhiani and Virginia Wilson Toccalino.
