An elderly Georgetown man suffered only minor injuries in an accident that started on Mountainview Rd. at Comset Gate at 5:15 p.m. Monday and ended a short time later in the schoolyard of Centennial Middle School. By the time the Toyota, driven by the man, came to rest after crashing into a portable at Centennial Middle School (above), it had struck the same Buick twice on Mountainview Rd. (right)-- once heading eastbound from Comset Gate and again coming back westbound. The Toyota's driver then ran over a sapling and crashed through a fence before hitting the portable. The man was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Georgetown Hospital. Police say further medical investigation is being done to determine
the cause of the accident. The driver of the Buick, a Brampton man, received a cut to his hand.
