Pg. 3 A HEARTFELT KISS: The Kissing Booth at last year's inaugural Valentine's Dance at Mountainview Residence & Terrace turned out to be such a popular spot that organizers have already set up the booth for Friday night's second-annual event. Residents Janice Mino and Ben Hogan of the Mountainview Residence & Terrace are getting warmed up for this year's Valentine's Dance at the retirement home. Proceeds from the Kissing Booth and other fundraising activities will go to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Approximately $450 was raised for the Heart & Stroke Foundation last February through the $1-per-peck Kissing Booth, a Valentine's 50/50 draw and Candy-Grams, with the goal of surpassing that fundraising figure. Family and friends of residents at Mountainview Residence are welcome to attend from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the activity room, complete with great dance music, root-beer floats and other treats.
