Legion Ladies off to District Darts The Ladies Auxiliary Annual Elimination Night was held on Jan. 22, and it was again a great success. Thank you Comrade Janet Malloy and her committee for putting on a fun evening. Qualifying darts were held on Saturday, Jan. 23, we had four teams participating. Two teams have qualified to play at district level. Good luck ladies. We were sorry to lose a longtime member Vi Herrington; our condolences to the family. SafeTALK is for everyone who wants to help prevent suicide: front line workers, clergy, volunteers, parents, youth, teachers and law enforcement. Anyone, who wants to be a suicide alert helper. This three-hour training can help you make a difference. SafeTALK will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, 7-10 p.m. in the Georgetown Police Station Community Room, 217 Guelph St. Cost: $10 per person (for materials).
