North Halton Better Hearing Centre opens Getting a hearing test is the first step to better hearing! Mayor Rick Bonnette, Councillors Jane Fogal and Dave Kentner joined owner Susan Baker and friends to celebrate the Grand Opening of North Halton Better Hearing Centre at a Grand Opening on April 6. North Halton Better Hearing Centre is a hearing clinic in downtown Georgetown, located in the Co-operators Building at 115 Main St. S., Lower Level, offering hearing testing, hearing aid fittings and adjustments to all makes and models, hearing aid repairs, and sales of hearing aid batteries. Locally owned and operated by longtime resident Susan Baker, North Halton Better Hearing Centre opened on March 1. Baker is a Registered Hearing Instrument Specialist and loves helping her clients understand how hearing aids can help them live fuller, better lives. Hearing loss causes a very subtle change over time, so subtle that many don't realize the little things that are missing from their lives because of their hearing loss. Hearing tests are non-invasive and painless, taking about 20 minutes to complete. After your hearing test is completed, Baker will discuss your results and advise if your hearing falls within normal or abnormal ranges. If required, she will then make recommendations for suitable hearing solutions, such as hearing aids that can be customized to your specific hearing needs. North Halton Better Hearing Centre is committed to helping people hear better by providing exceptional client care and an approach personalized to each and every client. Baker will discuss with you the areas where you are having difficulty hearing-- be that an environment with noise in the background, listening to the TV at a level others find comfortable, or even speaking with loved ones in a quiet environment.
