Photo by Ray Lavender OPP suspends water search for missing Halton Hills woman HIS FIRST NHL GOAL Georgetown native Jason Dickinson, playing for the Dallas Stars, scored his first NHL goal. Pg. 42 KAWARTHA LAKES-- Police have suspended the search for a 28-year-old Halton Hills woman missing for eight days after the canoe she was in capsized in Pigeon Lake on April 3. The missing woman has been identified by OPP as Angel Villeneuve-Steadman. Kawartha Lakes OPP have conducted an exfacebook.com/Independent&FreePress haustive search, including a ground search by Twitter: @IFP_11 the Emergency Response Team, a water search Mobile: m.theifp.ca by the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit and a search from the air with their Aviation Services. OPP say three people had set out at approximately 5 p.m. that Sunday to retrieve a pedal boat that had drifted from shore. The canoe flipped and only one of the three-- a 19-year-old man-- made it back to shore. No one was wearing a lifejacket. Police began their search that evening, using the boat launch at Victoria Place as a base. The body of 23-year-old Spencer Dunn of Scarborough was recovered on April 5.
