While guests get up-close-and-personal with the artists who will be at the gallery to talk to about the creative process behind their distinctive paintings, Sommelier Rebecca MeirLiebman and Chef Eyal Liebman of Chef and Somm Bespoke Dining will be serving a bespoke food and wine pairing that has been meticulously prepared to highlight each artist's work. From 6-9 p.m., guests will visit three art stations where they can view the paintings of our featured artists and experience an unparalleled dining event: hors d'oeuvres made from market fresh ingredients paired with the perfect wine from our sponsors. "This is the first time we have introduced an event like this," says Habitat Halton-Mississauga CEO, John Gerrard. "We are bringing an evening like no other to those who not only love art, food and wine but who also support our building initiatives for the families we serve in our communities." All three featured artists are well known on the international art scene. Eventov has exhibited in many ofthefinestgalleriesinNorthAmericaandherpaintings can be found in private collections such as that of Jean Chrétien. Her work evokes the rich, bold and bright colours of the Mediterranean. Adamo is a Toronto artist who uses textured surfaces and rough contours to create his abstract artwork. His works can be found in galleries throughout Canada, Europe and the U.S. Berens, also a Canadian artist, has a passion for painting natural surroundings and is noted for his ability to capture depth and light through textured dabs of a well-calculated colour palette. A special highlight of the evening will be the auctioning of an Eventov original painting, valued at $800 (framed) that the artist has donated for this event.
