Georgetown Scouting is holding a bottle drive on Saturday Scouting is synonymous with "Helping" . Each year, Canadian Scouters of all ages participate in Good Turn Week-- a time to do a good deed for a friend, family member, neighbour or the community. This year, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers in Georgetown are running a Bottle Drive to raise money for a Syrian refugee family who will be settling in Halton Hills. One hundred per cent of the proceeds from empty beer, wine and liquor bottle returns will go towards helping this family.
