The horseshoe players managed to beat last year's donations when they raised 290 lbs of food and $70 in cash. Way to go guys! On Saturday night, the Legion hosted a dinner and dance for the Ladies Aux- iliary serving cocktails and a filet mignon din- ner. Celine, as President thanked the Legion for an excellent meal, and Peggy responded by thanking the Ladies for their long- standing service. Special thanks go to Ryan Wagg and his team of cooks and servers who helped make the evening a success. The DJ was good, and he kept the dance floor busy all night. It was good to see Bev Boisenvue having a really good time. Con- gratulations to all the ladies who received long service pins.
