To get to the fi nal, the Gladiators lost their opening game of the tourney 3-1 to Guelph before rallying to beat Milton 6-0, Oakville 11-1 and Milton 9-4 in the semifi nals. In a thrilling championship contest, Guelph scored eight minutes into extra time to clinch the title 4-3.
