Provincial police say family mem- bers searching the Sauble River for Nathan French, 31, of Acton, found his body Saturday afternoon after the water levels receeded. French was found a short distance from his family cottage near Park Head. He was last seen heading out onto the river in a small dingy on Oct. 24. Police say a coroner at the scene believes he drowned. Investigators do not believe his death was the result of foul play. French loved the river, and throughout his life spent countless hours canoe- ing, fishing and enjoying nature there. He is survived by his parents Wayne and Ruth French, sister Amy (Rob) Coull, brother Aaron, grandparents Reg and Catherine French, and his girlfriend Katie Lougheed.
