On Nov. 19 Douglas Wehnde, 53, received a $2,500 fine and 24 months probation that prohibits him from driving for the first 12 months except to take a safe driving course, and permits him to drive only for work or emergencies in the last 12 months. Wehnde, 53, was driving a pickup truck that struck and killed pedestri- an Reid, 48, who had a developmen- tal disability, while she was crossing Mountainview Rd. near Todd Rd.
