YOU & YOUR PET Willow is a male cairn terrier, three years old, basic light brown coat with white wispy accents who just clings to your heart and pulls you in. Willow is housebroken, tolerant of other dogs, has his basic commands, and is easy to walk with medium energy. A fenced yard is a MUST! Willow came in as a stray, presenting as a "bag of nerves", trembling and very afraid but with gentle coaxing he is now able to see the world is not all bad. Willow, accord- ing to Staff, shows signs of having been abused and should be adopted to an "adult only" home without children who would prove too much for his delicate nerves as he learns to trust again. Willow is innately a very sweet boy and will make a super little dog if given love, patience and time for him to regain trust in the world around him. Call the Shelter at 519-833-2287 or email adoptions@uppercredit.com Riley is a six-year-old male white and tan hound cross, very thin weighing about 35 lb., wears a jacket for the cold. Housebroken, gentle children and dogs okay, cats could be an issue, needs additional training but looks to people for commands, medium energy, fine to walk but will follow his nose. Fenced yard a must. Clean in his kennel, very social, happy in a quiet way, would fit in many homes, loves his bed and curls up in the laundry basket when there isn't one available. Bud is a handsome black and white boy, extremely nervous during his initial stay but now blossoms when human contact is near, loves to play, adores tummy rubs, and a lap is heaven indeed. Bud likes the other cats and dis- plays superb mouse chasing skills, Bud would fit life with an adult only or a family with older children; he could even manage a quiet dog; this gentle boy has been overlooked for too long and is longing to meet you. NHKR: Brothers seek home together How is it possible these broth- ers are still looking for a home? Ying and Yang are loveable and entertaining. They have short sleek soft coats and a Siamese look about them. They are tall and long: large boys considering they are eight months old. Ying and Yang are gentle and affection- ate with people, play well with other cats and enjoy friendly dogs. They are lively curious boys that get into mischief but they are so good natured it is difficult to be upset with them. Ying and Yang are tidy with their lit- ter boxes and clipping nails is no prob- lem. They love to cuddle, soak up atten- tion and make friends with everyone. The boys would like to be adopted to- gether but they could be adopted separate- ly if they were to live in active households. Ying and Yang would be good companions for children or other pets that are playful. With their easy going personalities the boys would easily fit into a new family. Ying and Yang will be available for adop- tion on Saturday, Dec. 14, 12-3 p.m. at Pet Valu, 369 Mountainview Rd. S. along with other young cats.
