The Raiders were facing their big- gest game of the season and needed something special to stage a come- back in the series, but instead, St. Mike's, the OJHL South West Confer- ence's second seed, eliminated third- place Georgetown 4-1 in their best- of-7 semifi nal matchup. In the fi rst four games of the se- ries, the Raiders had to pull their starting netminder following soft goals allowed and it happened again Monday, even though Gabe Grun- wald was screened on the fi rst two Buzzer tallies. He was replaced by Keegan Wil- son after the third Buzzer goal and it didn't take long for the home side to grab a 4-0 lead off a two-on-one break just 13 minutes into the fi rst period. Although the Raiders made it inter- esting with goals by Tyler MacPher- son and Nick Perruccio in the middle frame, St. Michael's quelled the Raid- er rally with two insurance markers within the last fi ve minutes of regula- tion.
