Books, toys, games and DVDs wanted for annual CFUW Book & Toy Sale Georgetown Canadian Federation of University Women is preparing to hold its 42nd Annual Used Book and Toy Sale on Saturday, April 20 at Christ the King High School. Proceeds go to education scholar- ships in Halton Hills. However, it would not happen with the support of Halton Hills citizens who donate their used books and gently used toys, games and DVDs to the sale. From April 3 to April 17, collection boxes will be placed in the following lo- cations: Shopper's Drug Mart (Mountainview Rd. in Georgetown South), The Georgetown Independent & Free Press (Georgetown Market Place), Curves (Main St., Downtown Georgetown), and Herbal Magic (Queen St., Acton). CFUW members col- lect, sort and prepare the books for the sale. Each year Halton Hills citizens come to the sale to purchase from a diverse selec- tion of fi ction and non-fi ction at very low prices. Children love to shop in their own section and teachers will fi nd many books to supplement their classroom libraries. This is a great opportunity to load up on summer reading.
