On April 10 Halton Police Chief Steve Tanner and Regional Chair Gary Carr took the pledge against distracted driving and encouraged everyone in Halton to do the same. "Motorists need to be cognizant of the inherent dangers associated to driv- ing while distracted and recognize we will continue our enforcement efforts to enhance road safety," said Tanner.
