•T h e IF P • H alto n H ills, T hursday, M ay 16, 2013 17 Fresher come see for yourself The Georgetown Kiwanis Club is hold- ing its annual Lobsterfest at the Gellert Centre on Friday, May 24 at 7 p.m. The Kiwanis Club has pledged to raise $10,000 for the Georgetown Hospital ex- pansion project for each of the next seven years, for a total of $70,000. Lobsterfest is the main fundraiser for this donation, so we hope the community will come and support this fun night out. Lobster- fest has been held for 20 years now and everyone knows how great it is. Fresh lobster is fl own in from the East Coast that very day and is cooked by Ki- wanians right on the premises. Toronto company "Oyster Boy" (he's a rather large man really, so don't let the name fool you) will serve fresh oysters on the shell. Landlubbers are welcome too and will enjoy top quality sirloin steak, supplied by Pete's Meats at Preston's Food Mart in Glen Williams. Add in Caesar salad, baked potatoes and goodies for dessert, it is a veritable feast! We also have our DJ Sonic Sound to rock the night away and get rid of all those Crustacean calories. Tickets are $75 (all-you-can-eat while supplies last) and can be ordered by call- ing 905-877-4411 ext 253. Come help the Kiwanis make a do- nation to the Georgetown Hospital and have a good time while you are at it!
