Halton Regional Police received a complaint at about 5:30 p.m. from an employee at the Guelph St. LCBO re- garding a customer who appeared to be impaired attempting to purchase alco- hol. Shortly afterward, another complaint was called in from the Mountainview Rd. LCBO store in Georgetown South in which a man was refused service due to possible impairment. Officers responded and located a vehicle heading northbound on Moun- tainview Rd. matching the description provided by an LCBO employee. The vehicle was pulled over and the officer found suspicion of alcohol con- sumption by the driver. A roadside test was performed and the suspect failed. Charged with care and control of a vehicle while his ability was impaired by alcohol and care and control of a vehicle while having over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood is Christopher Griffith of Main St. • • • Police are searching for suspects following an incident of vandalism in Georgetown South last Wednes- day morning (June 12) in which four vehicles parked in driveways on Curry Crescent were defaced with orange spray paint. The owner of another residence on nearby Eaton St. reported dam- age to a gate leading into the back- yard. No damage estimates were avail- able. • • • Social media was cited as being one of the contributing factors to a house party that got out of control at a large rural residence located on the Tenth Line in Halton Hills on Saturday, June 8. Police responded to numerous complaints of a loud party that was attended by more than 300 people. A golf cart with an unknown value was taken from the residence and found badly damaged in a ditch on 27 Sideroad the next day.
