Friday June 28th 12pm-2pm The City of Brampton is hosting an open house on Wednesday, June 26 to present the fi ndings of the second round of peer reviews and the social impact study related to the Norval Quarry proposal. A drop-in open house will be held 6-8 p.m. at Peel Regional Police Asso- ciation Meeting Hall, 10675 Mississau- ga Rd. in Brampton (two kilometres north of Hwy. 7). Staff will report to Brampton council later this year with a fi nal recommen- dation for the Norval Quarry rezoning application that considers the fi ndings of the peer reviews, agency comments and public input. In order to address the fi rst of round of peer review fi ndings, Brampton Brick submitted technical responses in May 2012. The City commissioned a second round of peer reviews to con- sider the new information provided. The fi nal reports are available on the project website, under the heading "Second Peer Review Reports (Spring 2013)." Representatives from the City's peer reviewers will be in attendance at the open house to respond to questions about their fi ndings. For more information on the re-zon- ing application, peer review reports or the upcoming open house, contact the planner assigned to this fi le, Natasha Rea, 905-874-3861 or Natasha.Rea@ brampton.ca or visit the project web page at: www.brampton.ca/en/Busi- ness/planning-development/projects- studies/Pages/Norval-Quarry-Re-Zon- ing.aspx Open house set to discuss Norval Quarry Hoedown hijinx Tracey Muil of Georgetown laughs as she is bucked off the mechani- cal bull at the Hospital Hoedown, which took place recently at Nash- ville North.
