Not only are they bringing that brand new Norm Foster sexy comedy, Skin Flick to the Georgetown stage in November and that outlandish Michael Parker farce, Who's in Bed with the But- ler in the spring, but they are taking on the challenge of a fantasy extravaganza for their winter play. Terry Pratchett's, well known fantasy, Going Postal, has been adapted for the stage by S. Briggs, and will be directed by GLT's very own Pamela Niesiobedzki-Cur- tis. Last season she brought us that award-winning show, Fro- zen Dreams. Going Postal is quite different though; it has heroes, villains, tyrants, vampires, wizards and much much more. Going Post- al is a thinly veiled satire on the closure of post offices and corruption within the British Royal Mail and government of- ficials, but it is also a whimsi- cal melodramatic fantasy and the sky will be the limit with costumes, and special effects of this ACT-CO Festival entry. GLT will also need costum- ers, props finders and creators, lighting and sound people, videographers, musicians, set builders, backstage ASM's and of course, actors. There are 33 roles for ages 16 to 80. If you have missed us, and you want to have large lavish pro- ductions within our own community, why not come out and get involved, or better yet audition for the show. Anyone ages 16-80 plus are welcome. There will be an information session on Sunday, June 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the GLT studio, and auditions for the show will be Sunday June 23 and Mon- day June 24, at 7 p.m. at The GLT Studio, 33 Stewarttown Road.
