Life is too short to dwell on the small stuff." Barbara left us on January 29th, 2014 after a long hard fight with pulmonary fibrosis. She was on the waiting list for a double lung transplant, but unfortunately there were no suitable donors. Barbara was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Margaret Wright. More recently she assisted her husband Paul in his involvement with the development of the Gallery (Georgetown's Seniors ' Independent l iv ing res idence) . According to Barbara's wishes, there will be no memorial service. She has been cremated (except for an organ donation for medical research). In the spring, when her beloved flowers are out, she will be laid to rest in a private burial service.
