CVC is organizing a monitoring 'blitz' of meadow habitat in the middle and upper portions of the Credit River watershed to gather more information about at-risk grassland bird species. This is a one-day event in June that will include an earlier two-hour training session. Volunteers will be put into teams and surveys will be conducted from the roadside using a 'point-count' method. Interested volunteers are asked to visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/cvc-bird-survey for a brief questionnaire that will help us determine the best date for the 'blitz'. After filling out the questionnaire, interested volunteers will receive updates as more event details become available.
