Moon was honoured with the 2014 Georgetown Hockey Heritage Award Monday evening at the Acton Legion for his 15 years of devotion to minor and junior hockey in Georgetown, including that memorable run to the Royal Bank Cup Jr. A cham- pionship tournament in Wey- burn, Sask., in which the Raiders were eliminated in the semifi nals. Wood was a member of the train- ing staff of that team. The guest speaker for Monday's sold-out event, the 37th-annual Hockey Heritage induction ceremony, was longtime NHLer and current TSN colour analyst Ray Ferraro. Photo by Eamonn Maher
