Century Church Theatre A comedy by Sam Bobrick Directed by Martyn Worsnop An ACT-CO Festival Entry CVC will continue to closely moni- tor weather and water levels in the watershed due to the expected rainfall and warmer temperatures this week. In a Flood Outlook Statement, in effect until Friday, March 21, the CVC reported the mix of warmer tempera- tures, rain, and melting snowpack is expected to increase water levels in wa- tercourses. This may lead to flooding and/or drainage issues in low lying ar- eas. The resultant flows may mobilize ice sheets resulting in ice floes or jams. The return to below freezing tempera- tures will create icy conditions near river banks. As a result, local streams and rivers will become dangerous, especially in the vicinity of culverts, bridges and dams. Children should be warned to stay away from all water- courses. Precipitation is expected to total 10- 15 mm, and the melting of the snow- pack may generate an additional 10-15 mm of equivalent water. For more information on this Flood Outlook Statement or to report a flood, please contact CVC during office hours at 905- 670-1615. For afterhours, call 1-800-215-8505 to report a flood. CVC is on flood watch this week
