BOULANGER, Yvette Passed away on March 13th, 2014 at the Georgetown Hospital in her 88th year, after battling Alzheimer's for several years. Beloved wife of the late Herménégilde Boulanger. Cherished mother of Jim, Renald, Réjean and wife Lynn, Lorraine, and René. Grandma will be missed by m a n y g r a n d c h i l d r e n a n d g r e a t - grandchildren. Yvette will also be missed by s isters Ri ta and Annet te , n ieces, nephews, and her church family at Sacre- Coeur. Moving to Ontario in 1958 with her husband and five young children, and speaking no English, Yvette demonstrated her courageous and gregarious spirit, learning the language and becoming involved as a respected and well-liked member of her new community. Devoted to her family, Yvette was happiest when surrounded by them. These times included t he yea r l y summer t r ek to Quebec socializing with relatives and blueberry picking - resulting, of course, in blueberry pie and her special 'poudin'. In later years she enjoyed watching and spoiling her grandchildren. She was known for her generosity, always giving of her time and resources, to help others. Finally, friends will smile at memories of her as an avid bingo player. Friends were received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Monday, March 17th from 7-9 pm. Funeral service was held at Sacre-Coeur Church, 39 Guelph Street, Georgetown, on Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 at 10:00 am fol lowed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Ken, at the age of 92 years, was pre-deceased by his loving w i f e J e a n . L o v e d f a t h e r o f Wa y n e (Michele), Donna (Ted), Doug (Shelly) and Debbie (Wayne). Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place.
