But coach Kevin Hughes's squad took top spot in the Divi- sion III, Tier II under-14 category, defeating the Orillia Pulsar Suns 17-15 in the third-and- deciding set of the championship match to complete the season on a winning vibe. The under-13 Impact, in its first year together, went 4-3 in the preliminary round in Waterloo before taking all three of their playoff matches.
