Pythons' Pit (similar to CBCs Drag- ons' Den) provides an avenue for cre- ative, entrepreneurial residents and students of Halton Region to pitch their business concepts and product ideas in front of a live audience and a panel of real business moguls from the community. The live competition was held last week the Ron Joyce Centre DeGroote School of Business in Burlington. GDHS students Katie Henderson (left) and Nita Stranaghan's service idea entitled 'Fashion on Wheels' took third place and a of cash prize of $1,000. Fashion on Wheels is a mobile and miniature store that comes to the con- sumer through a dispatcher service. This vehicle would be equipped with all the hottest clothing brands inside, allowing customers of all ages to shop from the convenience of home, thus avoiding the hustle and bustle of shop- ping malls. Pythons' Pit will be aired on Cogeco television in a series of episodes start- ing this fall.
