Acton led for much of the contest, but the Indians rallied to tie the score in the seventh inning to extend the drama. George- town scored in the top of the eighth and then Indians' pitcher Ty Muller shut down the Tigers' rally in the bottom of the inning with two strikeouts to end the game.
