Gordon is survived by his wife of 56 years Doreen Munroe. He was the much loved father of Cheryl Munroe-Wick (Char les Wick) o f Goderich, Shelley (Dave) Chapin and Vicki Munroe (Bob Gibbons). He was the adored Grandpa of Craig Charlton (Rebecca), Kurtis Wick, Fraser Wick, Philip Wick-Munroe, Sarah Chapin, Chandler, Natalie and Joland Oke and Rylan Gibbons. Great Grandpa to Keagan, Madeline, Avery, Presley and Charlie. He is survived by two sisters Patricia Esplen of Georgetown and Sylvia (Jack) Duffy of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by one sister Eileen (Munroe) Ehler, as well as his parents Jean (Hawes) and Victor Munroe all of Nova Scotia. Gordon was born and grew up in Canso Nova Scotia. He had a varied career in sales and was a car salesman in Goderich for many years. He also served in the Canadian Army as a medic. He had a great aptitude for music, could sing as well as play many instruments. His passion was his family and he was extremely devoted to them. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McCallum and Palla Funeral Home Goderich. Internment in Maitland Cemetery, Goderich. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
