Council will have its next meeting, Monday, July 7, in the Theatre at the Acton Town Hall Centre, 19 Willow St. N. Acton. The meeting will begin at the regular time-- 6:30 p.m. Mayor Rick Bonnette said council is looking forward to hosting the meeting at Acton Town Hall Centre, which has been refurbished and is a fully accessi- ble facility. Cogeco Cable will be there to tape the council meeting. For information call the Town Clerk's office at 905-873-2601 ext. 2333. The agenda for the meeting will be posted on the Town's website at ww- whaltonhills.ca on Friday, July 4. Council meeting to be held in Acton July 7 Town spends $2.2M on salt Sifto Canada Corp. was awarded the contract to supply the Town with its winter salt for the next three years at a recent council meeting. The cost is about $2.2 million. The price was negotiated over a three-year term. In 2014 to date, due to the severe winter $483,196 has been spent on salt.
